'Jai Ho' is trying to enter 100 crore club
The films net collection for the first four days is Rs. 70.18 crore.
MUMBAI (Web Desk) - After a rather dismal weekend, Salman Khan’s latest release Jai Ho showed a little promise on Monday with a collection of Rs. 9.50 crore.
It’s clear that Jai Ho has missed the bumper opening it was touted to take in the first weekend. Now, to the relief of the co-producers Eros International, the film threw up decent numbers on Monday. It might hit the 100 crore milestone by its second weekend.
Just for comparison, Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger took 5 days to reach the 100 crore club last year and his Dabangg 2 took 6 days for the feat.
The Jai Ho net collection for the first four days at the domestic box office stands thus:
Friday: Rs. 17.75 crore
Saturday: Rs. 16.68 crore
Sunday: Rs. 26.25 crore
Monday: Rs. 9.50 crore
Total for four days: Rs. 70.18 crore
