MUMBAI (Web Desk) - According to Press Trust of India Kapoor was quoted as saying, “he (Salman) is too honest to be a politician. He is aam aadmi (common man)”
Khan plays the role of a common man in his latest film ‘Jai Ho’, which is released today. The political-drama, tells the story of a suspended army officer, who stands against the unjust and the powerful to curb crime and corruption.
The film, directed by Sohail Khan, also features newcomer Daisy Shah, Sana Khan, Tabu and Suniel Shetty.
After delivering block-buster hits ‘Dabangg’, ‘Ready’, ‘Bodyguard’ and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, the 48-year-old actor did not give any releases last year. Now it remains to be seen if his return on the big screen after a-year gap can do wonders at the box office.
