Tinsel town s chocolate boy Imran Khan today promoted his forthcoming romantic comedy film Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola in Mumbai.
The movie is produced by Vishal Bhardwaj and also stars Anushka Sharma and Pankaj Kapoor in the lead. In a candid chat with mediapersons, Imran said that this is the first time Vishal Bhardwaj has produced a comedy and universal audience certificate film.
The film is shot in the rural surroundings of a village in Haryana. Imran said that two crew members from Rohtak helped him to play the character. The story is about Harry Mandola, the role played by Pankaj Kapur, who is a wealthy industrialist, his daughter Bijlee, the character played Anushka Sharma and the bond they both share with Matru, the role played by Imran Khan.
