Punjab CTD arrests seven terrorists during 129 IBOs in various cities

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested seven terrorists conducting operations in various cities of Punjab.
CTD spokesperson stated that Punjab CTD conducted 129 intelligence based operations (IBO) in various cities of the province and arrested seven terrorists.
The operations were carried out in Lahore, Bhakkar, Attock, Vehari, Bahawalpur and Jhang,
Two most wanted terrorists of Fitna-Al Khawarij along with weapons and explosive material were arrested from Lahore and Bhakkar.
The explosive material, nine detonators, 9-feet protective fuse wire, bullets, weapons, two IED bombs, mobile phones, banned pamphlets and cash were retrieved from the terrorists.
Terrorists have been identified as Hayatullah, Sheen Khan, Muhammad Saddique, Zahoor Ahmed, Akram Khan, Mubashar Khan.
Terrorists aimed to create anarchy and fear among the populous through terrorism activities.
Officials stated that around 257 suspects had been arrested in 2943 combing operations in the current week.
During combing operations, 68537 persons were investigated.
