KASUR (Dunya News) - Police claimed to have arrested a hardened robber after ‘encounter’ with three outlaws in Kot Radha Kishan, Dunya News reported here on Tuesday.
The arrested robber was identified as Ashraf. He was involved in dozens of heinous crimes. Police received information that three bandits robbed a man of cash and valuables and escaped.
Laws enforcers set up barriers near Mir Sahib River Bridge to arrest them. On seeing the police party, the robber riding a bike opened fire.
Police retaliated to their fire. In exchange of fire, a robber was injured and later arrested.
His two accomplices escaped. Police launched a manhunt for the fleeing robbers and seized a bike, a pistol and cash from the injured robber. Further investigation was underway.
