Two robbers arrested after 'encounter' with police in Lahore

Their third accomplice escaped
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Police claimed to have arrested two robbers after an exchange of fire with them in Defence C police jurisdiction, Dunya News reported here on Tuesday.
On suspicion, police at a security barricade asked three men riding a bike to stop, but they did not stop and fled restoring to firing.
Police chased them and exchanged fire and silenced their guns. Later, police found them lying injured on ground.
The law enforcers arrested them whereas their third accomplice escaped. They were identified as Rafiq and Shaheen.
Weapons, a bike and valuables were seized. Police have claimed that the outlaws were involved in 21 cases of robbery.
They were shifted to hospital and further investigation was under way.
