In another case, police arrest a robber after encounter
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Robbers plundered cash and other valuables from a citizen and killed him on resistance here on Sunday.
Athar Hussain was going somewhere in Murtaza Chorangi area when two robbers on a motorcycle stopped him and snatched cash and other valuables.
Eyewitnesses told police that a robbers killed Athar when he tried to foil their robbery attempt. Police started investigation after shifting the dead body to hospital for post-mortem.
In another incident in New Karachi, police arrested a robber whereas his accomplice managed to escape.
Police were informed about the presence of two robbers in the area. When police reached there, the outlaws opened fire. Police retaliated and injured a robber and later arrested him. His accomplice managed to escape.
Police recovered booty and pistol from the suspect.
