One dead, seven injured in Karachi firing incidents

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A man was shot dead and seven others were injured in separate firing incidents here on Friday, Dunya News reported.
The incidents of the gunshots took place in Akhtar Colony, Site Area, Lyari and Sirjani Town.
Police said a man was gunned down by unidentified armed men in Akhtar Colony. Police have started investigation after shifting the dead body to hospital for post-mortem.
Those wounded in separate firing incidents were admitted to different hospitals.
Police were investigating after collecting forensic evidence and recording statements from people of their respective areas.
Firing incidents in the city have become order of the day. Several people either suffer injuries or lose their lives in these firing incidents.
People have voiced concerns over growing crimes and poor law and order situation in the city and appealed to the authorities concerned to improve law and order situation.
