Family claims that the victim was innocent whereas police say he was a wanted criminal
MULTAN (Dunya News) – A man was allegedly shot dead in Multan district of Punjab on Sunday.
The incident was reported in Lodhi Colony area of Multan city. The victim identified as Hammad was allegedly signalled to stop at a check-post in aforementioned area, however the youngster failed to do so. The policemen allegedly opened fire on him afterwards.
The victim’s family claim that the youngster was innocent and the policemen have shot him unjustly. Whereas the police have claimed that the deceased was wanted criminal and opened fire at the policemen upon being intercepted.
Police say that the suspect was travelling along his partner and was killed by the firing of his own accomplices. Moreover, the investigation will further reveal the truth behind the incident.
