Motu-Patlu gang arrested in Mandi Bahauddin
MANDI BAHAUDDIN (Dunya News) – The Punjab police on Thursday arrested the Motu-Patlu gang notorious for more than hundred robberies across Punjab.
The CIA (Central Investigating Agency) – a special wing of Punjab police comprising police officers of different ranks established for the prevention and detection of crime – arrested the gang.
The police recovered Rs. 3.2million, two motorbikes, and five pistols from the arrested. The gang is reported to have involved in robbing ATMs (Automated Teller Machines), pharmacies, and citizens on way across different districts of Punjab, DPO Anwar Saeed Kingra said.
Accused Usman Mughal alias Motu and Hasnain Raja alias Patlu belonged to Islamabad and Malakwal respectively, added the DPO.
