One killed, seven injured in grenade attack in Jacobabad
JACOBABAD (Dunya News) – At least one person was killed and seven others have been injured in a grenade attack and firing near the Moladad railway gate on Saturday.
According to Jacobabad Police, unidentified gunmen hurled a hand grenade at the Moladad railway gate as a government vehicle was passing by.
The aid agencies arrived on time and shifted the body of the deceased and also the injured to the Civil Hospital. The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Mustafa Jakhrani.
While, the police have cordoned off the area. The police sources added that a suspect has also been arrested.
In this regard, the SSP Dr. Sumair Noor Channa said that they are looking into all aspects of the tragic incident and it would be premature to say anything about it.
The injured also included two police officials belonging to Thatta.
