Karachi: Police record statement of mother on mysterious deaths of three children
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Mother of three children mysteriously died in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Juhar gave her statement to the police.
The woman in her statement said that pesticides were sprayed in the house at 5 pm on Friday. After spraying the pesticide she made ‘Prathas’ for the children. The children s health started deteriorating as soon as they ate Prathas.
She said that the children could not be taken to the hospital overnight due to lack of money for treatment. The children were unconscious in the morning and were pronounced dead at the hospital.
She said that she separated from her husband 3 years ago. Even after my husband moved to Lahore, he used to send Rs 15,000 a month for the children, she added.
The woman was sent home after recording statement. After completing the autopsy of the children, bodies were handed over to the parents. The father left for Lahore last night with the bodies.
