Karachi police chief terms rising crime figures as speculations
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Karachi Police Chief has termed the rising crime figures as speculation and said that earlier crimes were not being reported, now 98% crimes are being registered in CPLC.
Addressing a ceremony held at the office of Trade and Industry Association in Federal B-Area, Additional IG Karachi Ghulam Memon said that crime can be controlled and criminals be punished only when the people and police are on same platform.
He said that two motorcycles have also been provided by the Trade and Industry Association to increase police patrols and cameras are also being installed in the area.
Ghulam Nabi Memon also expressed anger at the police officers due to the presence of illegal bus stands which are affecting traffic flow in the area.
