LAHORE (Dunya News) - A mother killed her two sons by hanging in Shahdara an area near Lahore. Police arrested the mother and began investigation.
According to details, a mother hanged three children including a daughter in Gulshan-e-Hayat Park area near Shahdara police station. Two sons, 10-year-old Bilal and 8-year-old Talha, died on the spot.
The girl miraculously survived and started making noise. Five-year-old Maryam was seriously injured when her mother stabbed her for making noise. She was rushed to hospital in critical condition for medical treatment.
After killing the children, accused Najma stabbed herself with a sharp instrument and pretended that she was possessed by evil forces and she did everything at their behest.
After hearing noise of the girl, the locals gathered and informed the police. SP Lahore, DSP Shahdara and SHO Shahdara reached the spot with heavy contingent of police. Police took the bodies into custody and shifted to the hospital for postmortem while the daughter was also shifted to the hospital for treatment.
