Shorkot: 20-year-old girl murdered for refusing marriage proposal
SHORKOT (Dunya News) - A boy shot two girls for refusing marriage proposal, as a result of which one died on the sport while the other was seriously injured.
According to details, 20-year-old Sidra was killed and 25-year-old Ghulam Rabab was seriously injured in a firing incident in Mohalla Maidanwala, an area of Shorkot.
As soon as the incident was reported, rescue 1122 teams and Shorkot police reached the spot. Rescue teams shifted the body of the deceased to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ).
According to police, the two girls were sisters who were on their way home after teaching at a private academy when accused named Zeeshan opened fire on them when they reached Mohalla Maidanwala.
According to police, Zeeshan who turned out to be a close relative of the girls, was upset after 20-year-old Sidra refused to marry him. The injured Ghulam Rabab was referred to Allied Hospital Faisalabad.
