Cyber Crime Unit of the FIA will interrogate the suspects and conduct in-depth investigation

FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Suspects involved in recording hidden videos of women in changing room of a Faisalabad clothing brand store were handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for inquiry.

Cyber Crime Unit of the FIA will interrogate the suspects and conduct in-depth investigation. The investigation body will prepare a report to reveal facts about the nature of crime.

The suspects were handed over to FIA Lahore. The officials have seized mobile phones of the suspects. The cyber crime cell will recover data from their phones and computers.

FIA sources told that they will prepare forensic report of the recovered data to check whether these suspects recorded videos of women in try rooms.

On February 8, police had arrested two employees of famous women’s clothing brand in Faisalabad after discovery of hidden cameras in shop’s trial room. They had nominated four people in the case including shop manager and owner.

According to details, police raided the store after a young man filed complaint that cameras were clandestinely installed in the trail room of famous brand’s shop located in Peoples Colony area of Faisalabad. The man also accused shop’s staff of hurling threats and snatching mobile phone.

A four-member committee was constituted by DC Salman Ghani to frisk shopping malls for hidden cameras.
