LAHORE (Dunya News) – The aunt of 4-year-old Arfa, whose body was found on the rooftop of the neighbors, has confessed to killing her on Thursday. Farah, wife of Arfa’s paternal uncle, told police that she killed the girl over family disputes, reported Dunya News.

Arfa was murdered a few days ago in Gujjarpura area of Lahore and her body was found stuffed in a sack. It was said at start that the little girl was murdered after rape but this new development has changed the direction of the case and police is also beckoning the statement of girl s aunt.

The four-year-old girl, Arfa whose abused body was found at neighbour’s roof was laid to rest on Monday, Dunya News reported.

Arfa’s grieving mother had teary eyes while she demanded justice.

According to details, the four-year-old from Lahore’s Gujjarpura area was buried at a local cemetery.

The little girl was fond of copies, pencils, story books and makeup. Her mother said she noticed Arfa was not in bed when she went to check on her at 11 pm. She said she kept searching for her the whole night but to no avail.

Arfa’s body was found at neighbour’s roof at noon on Sunday.

Her family said their child was a victim of cruelty and demanded exemplary punishment for the culprits.

The police had arrived at the scene on Sunday and said she was likely abused before being murder. Following Dunya News’ report, Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif had taken notice of the incident and had summoned report from the CCPO.
