(Dunya News) – As the year comes to close, cricketers from Pakistan, India and Australia managed to secure some top spots with their amazing cricketing performances in 2017.
In bowling, Pakistan’s fast bowler Hasan Ali ranked top with his 45 wickets this year. But while Babar Azam scored four centuries, he failed to perform in Test matches.
Hassan Ali played 18 matches in 2017 and was ranked at the top this year by bagging 45 wickets. Meanwhile, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan excelled in the ranking as well with the leg-spinner grabbing 43 wickets, coming in second right after Hasan.

In batting, Rohit Sharma of India scored remarkable six centuries in one-day cricket matches. Sharma also scored the highest number of sixes – 46.
Babar Azam, despite being the star for scoring four centuries in one day matches couldn’t maintain the same pace when it came to Test matches. In six test matches, Azam was out without scoring a single run.

When it came to Test cricket, performances by Australian team’s captain Steve Smith and India’s Virat Kohli ruled with each having scored 5 centuries.
