Summary Bangladesh reached home with nine wickets and 83 balls to spare
CHITTAGONG (AFP) - Bangladesh thrashed South Africa by nine wickets to take a three-match one-day international series 2-1 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Wednesday.
Set an easy target of 170 runs in 40 overs according to the Duckworth/Lewis Method after South Africa were restricted to 168-9, Bangladesh reached home with nine wickets and 83 balls to spare.
The teams will now play a two-Test series, with the first Test starting in Chittagong on July 21.
