DUBAI (Dunya News) –Latest ICC rankings for ODI series have been announced in Dubai on Monday, Dunya News reported. Winning a complete clean-sweep against Pakistan, the Australian cricket team has gained the top position. None of the Pakistani batsmen have been included in the list of top ten players.
According to the latest ICC rankings announced in Dubai, the Australian team has acquired the first position after defeating Pakistan in the ODI-series held in UAE.
Australia beat Pakistan by one run in the third ODI after Glenn Maxwell took two wickets in final over and won the series. Australia is ranked as number one whereas Pakistan is lagging far behind on 6th position. According to the rankings, India has gained the second position while South Africa is on the third number.
Unfortunately, none of the Pakistani players are included in the list of top ten batsmen. In the batting Rankings, Misbah-ul-Haq has acquired the 13th position while Ahmed Shahzad and Muhammad Hafeez have vaulted the 17th and 19th position respectively. However, in the ICC Players Rankings for ODI Bowlers, Saeed Ajmal has managed to gain the top position. The former captain of T-20 team Muhammad Hafeez is ranked as 7th but has acquired first position in the all-rounder’s category.
