Balochistan schools will open six days a week instead of five

All government and private schools will now remain open from Monday to Saturday

QUETTA (Dunya News) – The Balochistan government has decided to conduct classes six days a week in all government and private schools across the province, abolishing Saturday holiday.

According to a statement issued by Secretary School Education Lal Jan Jafar, all government and private schools in Balochistan will now remain open from Monday to Saturday.

The announcement states that all previous orders regarding the working days of educational institutions have been cancelled, while the six-day working week will remain in effect until further orders.

According to the announcement, all government and private schools, as well as all affiliated offices of the Education Department, will also operate under the new schedule.

The Balochistan government says that this decision has been implemented after the approval of the competent authority.
