SHUJABAD (Dunya News) – At least two children were killed and three other persons sustained injuries when a pillar of an under-construction house collapsed in Shujabad on Tuesday.
According to details, the tragic incident occurred in New Larh locality of Shujabad where pillar of an under-construction house collapsed, burying four children and a woman under the debris.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and retrieved dead bodies of two children from the rubbles while two children and a woman were pulled out in injured condition.
Rescue teams shifted the dead and injured to a nearby hospital. Later, the injured persons were shifted to Nishtar Hospital Multan due to their critical condition. The deceased were identified as 12-year-old Ayan and 10-year-old Rehan.
