GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – At least two children were killed and two other were wounded when roof of a house collapsed in Gujranwala on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, roof of a dilapidated house located at the Nowshera Road in Gujranwala caved-in due to heavy rain in the city, burying four children under the debris.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after being informed and started rescue operation. The rescue teams retrieved dead bodied of two children from the rubbles while two children were pulled out in injured condition.
Rescue teams have shifted the dead and injured to hospital. The deceased were identified as seven-year-old Shaheen and six-month-old Shan Ali.
