A resolution in KP Assembly proposes Nobel nomination for Pakistan leaders, citing diplomatic efforts for regional peace and stability.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - A resolution has been submitted in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly proposing the nomination of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The resolution was submitted to the Assembly Secretariat by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MPA Shehla Bano.

According to the text of the resolution, the effective diplomacy of the country's civil-military leadership has helped create conditions for peace and stability in the region.

It further stated that ongoing tensions between Israel, the United States, and Iran had posed serious threats to global peace, and the situation could have escalated into a broader international crisis.

The resolution also called for formally recognising the services of the three by nominating them for the Nobel Peace Prize in acknowledgement of their contributions to promoting peace.
