KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least six Afghan nationals were taken into custody during an operation carried out by District South police in Karachi on wednesday night, Dunya News reported.
During the operations, six Afghan nationals residing illegally in Karachi were arrested, along with two persons involved in violations of the Temporary Residence Act.
According to police sources, the detained illegal Afghan residents will be shifted to a transit camp after completing legal formalities. Meanwhile, cases have been registered against those who violated the Temporary Residence Act.
Sources further stated that the operations were carried out by personnel from Darakhshan, Saddar, and Boat Basin police stations.
