Naveed Kamran Baloch takes oath as new Federal Ombudsman

President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath of office to Naveed Kamran Baloch at a ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr. Naveed Kamran will hold office for a four-year term.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Naveed Kamran Baloch has taken oath as the 9th Wafaqi Mohtasib (Federal Ombudsman) of Pakistan on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath of office to Naveed Kamran Baloch at a ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr. Naveed Kamran will hold office for a four-year term.
Naveed Kamran Baloch has held various executive positions, including Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Federal Secretary, and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Sindh, bringing extensive experience in administrative and executive affairs.
Following the oath taking ceremony, Wafaqi Mohtasib called on the President.
The president asked Naveed Kamran Baloch to prioritise enhancing access to justice for citizens, improving the efficiency of case disposal, and strengthening mechanisms for timely grievance redressal across federal institutions.
