Fazl asks PM to take Parliament into confidence over regional tensions

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Details have emerged from the in-camera briefing to parliamentary and political leaders in light of the evolving regional and global situation which was chaired by the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the PM House on Wednesday.
According to sources, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman proposed that Parliament should be taken into confidence regarding the changing situation in the region, and that political leaders should be briefed inside Parliament.

On the other hand, PM Shehbaz Sharif sought time from coalition partners and Fazlur Rehman regarding convening an in-camera session of the Parliamen, saying that consultations would be held about calling the meeting.
