LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and private hospital owner Dr Shahid Siddique was shot dead outside a mosque in Lahore’s Valencia Town on Friday.
According to police, Dr Shahid Siddique was targeted outside the mosque after completing the Friday prayers.
Unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle fired four bullets at the PTI leader.
The police have taken the body into custody and launched an investigation.
Taking notice of the incident, Punjab IGP Usman Anwar ordered immediate action to apprehend the perpetrator(s).
The IGP also sought a detailed report from the DIG Operations regarding the incident.
Police on Saturday registered a case against the suspects.
