LAHORE (Dunya News) - Taking notice of a viral clip showing a policeman thrashing a citizen outside Ministry of Foreign Affairs office, DIG security has suspended the police personnel and ordered an inquiry against him, Dunya News reported here on Wednesday.
The clip of the incident has been circulated, inviting harsh comments from the social media users who are of the view that a few black sheep in the police department bring a bad name for the police department.
The DIG said a strict action will be taken against the cop who misbehaved with the citizen, adding a departmental inquiry has been launched to fix the policeman.
The cop identified as Baber was deputed at security division.
