Fawad Ch says 'action time starts now' over benami properties

Fawad Ch tweeted that people thought nothing would happen like before whereas action time has started now.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Wednesday expressed content over Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) seizing the benami property of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) senator Chaudhary Tanveer.

Fawad Ch tweeted that people thought nothing would happen like before whereas action time has started now. “Action time starts now, Govt did all it can to bring these guys in line seems they thought it’ll be business as usual”, he asserted.

He further added that he met with the Prime Minister Imran Khan who expressed real business and stepped up successfully on his promises. “Met PM in the morning and its very clear that he means business. Extremely satisfying that unlike others PM @ImranKhanPTI is following on his promises,” he tweeted.

Fawad Ch said that government made effort to bring such people into the system.

FBR has confiscated six thousand Kanals benami property of PML-N senator Chaudhary Tanveer who made these properties in the name of his servants in Rawalpindi.

This is the first action taken by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) against those having undeclared properties.
