Pakistan beats India to win Snooker World Team Cup 2019.
DOHA (Dunya News) – Pakistan beat India 3-1 and won the International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) Snooker World Team Cup 2019 which was held in Doha, Qatar.
Pakistan pair Asjad Iqbal and Muhammad Bilal defeated Indian team comprising Pankaj Advani and Laxman Rawat.
This was the second time in five days that Pakistan brushed aside arch-rivals India in the field of snooker. Earlier, the junior team had downed the Indian counterparts to win the Asian title.
Pakistan Billiard and Snooker Federation President Munawar Sheikh congratulated the players over their victory. The champions said the win is a great gift for the nation.
