The CM refuted claims of being involved in horse trading during elections of the Senate.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday regretted that Prime Minister Imran Khan had assured of allocating Rs162 for Karachi, but the issues of the metropolitan city were not being resolved.

In his talk to the media, he said: “The PTI dreams of changing the Sindh government…attempts of toppling [the provincial government] using magic will fail.”

“Until the center extends its support for Karachi, the city’s problems would not be addressed,” he said, adding the federal government has abandoned its support for [Karachi Bulk Water Supply Scheme] K-IV project.

“The city [of Karachi] requires 1,200 million gallons per day (mgd) of water supply, but gets only 400 to 500 mgd,” he went on to say.

The CM refuted claims of being involved in horse trading during elections of the Senate.

“The one, who had no experience, has become the prime minister of Pakistan, and now experiments are being performed on the general public,” he said.

Earlier, Shah visited Al-Jamia Saifiya and Al-Jamia-tus-Saifiyah institute in Nizamabad and met students.

Later, the CM inspected the ongoing construction work at a underpass on Shaheed Milat Road, and directed the concerned officials to complete the work by the month of August.
