QUETTA (Dunya News) – WBC Silver flyweight champion Muhammad Waseem has arrived in Quetta today (Sunday) amid cheers and applause.

Speaking to media, Waseem said: “I am a Pakistani and I have rejected all the offers. I will only represent my country till last breath.”

The Quetta-born boxer successfully defended his World Boxing Council (WBC) silver flyweight title last Sunday after defeating Philippines’ Giemel Magramo in Seoul, South Korea.

Known as ‘Falcon Khan’ for his swift boxing style, the 28-year-old outplayed Magramo in a tough 12-round fight.
