All institutions violating their constitutional limits: Raza Rabbani

Raza Rabbani said PTI government lacks two-third majority to make any amendment in the constitution.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former chairman of the Senate and veteran Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders Raza Rabbani has said that all institutions are violating their constitutional limits, Dunya News reported on Friday.

Addressing a press conference at the Sindh Assembly committee room, Raza Rabbani said that any attempt to curtail powers of the provinces would hurt the federation of the country in current circumstances.

Responding to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s remarks on midterm elections, he said that it is important to find out the circumstances that forced the PM to call for early elections.

He further said that the PTI government lacks two-third majority to make any amendment in the constitution. He said that all opposition parties, including PPP, are not under any pressure.
