Lahoris suffer from power cuts as shortfall hits 400MW

The overall demand for electricity is 4300MW while production is 3900MW

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahoris continue to suffer most as the the power shortfall has reached 400 megawatts.

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) is facing a 400MW power shortage due to which several areas of Lahore are witnessing three to seven hours of unannounced load shedding.

The overall demand for electricity is 4300MW while production is 3900MW.

According to LESCO, urban areas witnessing three to five hours of load shedding, while rural areas are facing six to seven hours of load shedding.
