KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Sunday vowed to strengthen his party’s Sindh chapter, saying such opportunity would not go amiss in future.

Addressing a campaign rally in Karachi, the PTI chief offered an apology for not strengthening party affairs in Sindh and said he would make sure to strengthen the party’s base in the province.

“Karachi is a city of politically-conscious people. Political movements used to initiate from here. We will now stregthen the party base here,” he added.

Lambasting the Charter of Democrac y between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and People’s Paty (PPP), Imran said the charter was used as a cover up in money laundering.

“Country’s wealth was looted under the guise of a’corruption charter’ and now we have huge debts. Our struggle is not against those who uphold democratic values... rather it is against mafias involved in money laundering and rampant corruption,” he added.
