Politics in Pakistan has been tarnished: Imran Khan

MANDI BAHAUDDIN (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Tuesday stated that inclusion of Nadeem Afzal Chan would act as a buttress for party while claiming that politics in Pakistan was tarnished.

He was addressing a public gathering in Mandi Bahauddin.

Khan asserted that inclusion of Chan would be in greater benefit of the local masses. He said masses had been deprived of basic necessities in Pakistan while apprising attendants 25 million children were out of school. Khan deplored that famers were not given appropriate rates for their crops.

“Those nations do not progress who fail to stand with underprivileged”, warned Khan while adding, “In Naya [new in English] Pakistan, rights would be given to the weaker segments of society”.

Khan apprised Pakistan Peoples Party that ‘Bhuttoism’ means to raise voice for the lay man.


Prefer masses over ideology, says Nadeem Afzal Chan


Former Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) stalwart Nadeem Afzal Chan claimed that only Imran Khan could dethrone Nawaz Sharif.

“I prefer masses over ideology. I joined ranks of Imran Khan to raise voice against ‘spiritual child’ of Zia-ul-Haq”, uttered Chan while adding at the same time, “If the name of ideology is Sharjeel Memom, then I am a rebel. If the name of ideology is Bhutoism, then I am still follower of Bhutto”.

Chan forecasted that Khan would gain power soon.
