In the recent Senate elections, 12 members of KPK assembly belonging to PTI voted for other parties

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – In the recent Senate elections, 12 members of KPK assembly belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) voted for other parties’ candidates.

Imran Khan has taken notice of the 12 PTI MPAs who did not vote for PTI in the recent Senate elections. According to the report sent to PTI Chairman, 12 of the KPK MPAs belonging to PTI voted for JUI and PPP. From PTI’s 61 members, only 49 voted for their party candidates.

“Strict action will be taken against those who indulged in horse-trading,” said Minister for Health and Information Shaukat Yousfazi.

PPP has 7 members in KPK assembly, but one of PPP candidates secured 10 votes while another managed to get 9 votes. Another party in KPK, JUI, bagged 8 of the PTI votes.
