Eid Milad-un-Nabi ceremony organised at Nawaz Sharif's Jati Umra residence

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A Holy Quran recitation ceremony was organised at Jati Umra residence of disqualified premier Nawaz Sharif in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) that is being celebrated across Pakistan on Friday.

Capt (r) Safdar and Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif among other leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) attended the ceremony.




The day dawned with thirty-one gun salute in the federal capital and twenty-one gun salute in all the provincial capitals to pay homage to the last Prophet (PBUH). There is a public holiday today.

Special prayers were offered in the mosques after Fajr prayer for peace, prosperity and development of the country. Special conferences, events and Mehafil-e-Milaad are being arranged to pay respect to the last messenger whose whole life and teachings are beacon of light for the whole mankind.
