YDA continued their strike to save their corrupt member on the third day, patients suffer
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Young Doctors’ Association (YDA) on Wednesday continued its strike into the third day as well. The patients suffered at the hospitals while the government remained silent spectators, reported Dunya News.
Son of an ailing mother in Services Hospital started crying at Services Hospital but the doctors didn’t listen to his pleas. The doctors have defied every pressures, rejected every plea to call off the strike. In order to save their corrupt colleague, they are ready to let the patients die as several lives are at risk.
The patients are suffering especially after the closure of emergency and outdoors. Nobody is here to listen to the helpless relatives of the sick patients. The doctors are fighting their case before the anti-corruption department; they want Health Secretary to be suspended but the government hasn’t paid heed to their demand.
