Will continue supporting Kashmiris' struggle at every level: PM
Nawaz said that the agenda of national progress and prosperity will also be continued in Kashmir
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has on Friday said that Pakistan will continue supporting Kashmiris’ struggle at every level. He said that the national agenda of progress, development and prosperity will also be extended to Kashmir, reported Dunya News.
Congratulating Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) candidates Sardar Abdul Khaliq and Chaudhry Siddique over their victory in Kashmir Council elections, Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan will continue supporting the Kashmiris defying Indian brutality and barbarity for the attainment of the right to self-determination at any cost. PM expressed hope that both the newly elected members would do their utmost for the progress of Pakistan.
PM said that the people of Azad Kashmir showed great faith in PML-N in the recent elections, helping the party get a clear majority in the legislative assembly. “Now we have to divert all our energies towards public service and social and economic development in Azad Kashmir”, he said.
He said that the nation must not forget the struggle of the people living in Indian Held Kashmir who have been fighting against Indian brutality and oppression. “We will continue supporting the freedom movement of Kashmir on moral, political and diplomatic levels”, said Nawaz.
