Weather turns pleasant as rain lashes parts of Punjab
Heat wave subsided as rain lashed parts of Punjab on early Monday Morning.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The heat-stricken masses in several cities of Punjab took a sigh of relief as weather that was extremely hot, became pleasant after rain on early Monday morning, Dunya News reported.
Heavy rain with strong winds lashed Lahore on early Monday. Several feeders in Lahore were tripped due to rain, plunging most parts of the city into darkness. Strong winds also uprooted number of trees in the city.
Rain was also reported from Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Daska, Muridke and some other cities of Punjab. Federal capital Islamabad also received heavy rain.
The Met Office has predicted rain with strong winds in Hazara, Malakand, FATA, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and other areas during next 24 hours.
