Rashid says int'l media only discusses about immigrants entering Europe, US or Australia

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid stated on Tuesday that Pakistan wants the three hundred thousand Afghan immigrants in the country to return to their homes in a dignified manner, adding that the international community needs to play its role to establish peace in Afghanistan, reported Dunya News.

While addressing a conference based on immigrants, Rashid said that the global media completely ignored arrival of Afghan immigrants in Pakistan, further stating that the country welcomed around one million and seven hundred thousand Afghan immigrants after Russia s intervention there. Rashid said that the international media discusses about the immigrants entering into Europe, United States or Australia.

Federal Information Minister said that the international community needs to play its role in order to establish peace in Afghanistan so that the refugees can return to their homes.
