Opposition Leader Syed Khurshid Shah demanded that the crucial session be broadcasted live

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister of Information Pervaiz Rashid announced that the National Assembly s (NA) session that is to take place on Monday shall be broadcasted live on the Pakistan Television (PTV), reported Dunya News on Friday.

Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah placed forward this demand that the crucial session of the Assembly that will be based upon debates upon the Panama Leaks issue be broadcasted live. Pervaiz Rashid agreed that all speeches made in this regards, including that of Prime Minster (PM) Nawaz Sharif and opposition representatives, shall be broadcasted live on the state television.

PTV has broadcasted speeches of opposition leaders in the past as well. Rashid said that it is the discretion of the Speaker whether he allows any other member to speak after the PM has delivered his speech or not, adding that the PM will inform all about the policy regarding the Panama Leaks issue in the Assembly.
