We will complete tenure, affirms Zardari

Daring his rivals, President Asif Zardari has categorically stated that the government would complete its 5-year term. Addressing the party workers in Nawabshah on Monday, President Zardari asserted that the political actors have been jointly targeting the incumbent government, but we will continue to serve the people and complete our stipulated term. Pakistan Peoples Party is the biggest public party of the country, claimed the President. We are not afraid of jail or mosquitoes, Zardari said. Zardari said that every dictator harmed PPP greatly; however, adding that Pakistan do not afford any such misadventure. He said that the nation has to pay a high cost for the blunders committed by Leghari and Sajjad Shah. Some people are doing politics for making to headlines only, Zardari maintained.The President deplored that justice has never been meted out to PPP, but the public strengthened the party always. Govt in danger due to its own follies: Ahsan IqbalTalking to Dunya News in this regard, PML-N Information Secretary Ahsan Iqbal said that the PPP government is in danger due to its inefficiency, corruption and adventures with Constitution and law. He maintained that no conspiracy is being hatched against those at the helm of affairs. He said that the government has been told time and again to improve its governance instead of pointing fingers at others. He said that his party fought for its principled stance during Musharrafs regime. PPP, PML-N standoff imminent: Sheikh RasheedAwami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed, while talking to Dunya News, wondered that what is scaring the President. It is seemed as if the government does not want to complete its term, Rasheed said. He said that the Supreme Court is providing the government with time, but the latters stubbornness would cost it in high terms. A PPP and PML-N standoff is imminent, he said.
