Artefacts stolen from museum during protest near Punjab Assembly
Protesters looted artefacts of immense worth from the museum of the assembly
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Numerous valuable artefacts which were placed in the museum right across the Punjab Assembly have been reported stolen during a protest organised by various religious parties, reported Dunya News.
The looted artefacts include gifts from representatives of Islamic countries which were presented during the meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation that was held in Lahore in 1974.
Police has initiated investigation after collecting evidences from the crime scene.
