Police seized money exchange worth millions of rupees from gamblers.

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Police late Saturday night nabbed a gambling network that betted on the Asia Cup’s Pakistan Vs India cricket match. Two gamblers, Javed Iqbal and Anwar, were arrested during the raid in Mohammadi neighbourhood of Multan while police seized money exchange worth millions of rupees.

According to the details, police raided the home on secret tip off. Four laptops, money exchange, software, telephone set, wireless phone, TV set, fax and printer machines were found in the possession of the suspects, which the police confiscated. Police also took away millions of rupees from the felons.



The perpetrators say they were in contact with international gamblers in Dubai and London through the software.

Police officials stated that a massive gambling network had been busted and the matter was still being investigated.
