China to provide Pakistan with 500 million USD for power projects
Pak-China Economic Corridor has greatly facilitated in getting financial support from China.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – China will be providing Pakistan with 500 million dollars for the development of solar and air power projects.According to the sources at Alternate Energy Development Board, 2 billion dollars have been invested in alternate energy projects.
Sources say 90 percent of these investments include foreign aid provided to the country.
Sources also say that the target for the present volume of electricity produced by solar and air energy has been elevated from 300 MW to 800MW.
Officials have stated the Pak-China Economic Corridor has greatly facilitated in getting financial support from China for power projects.
