Mian Amer Mahmood's father passes away
Funeral prayer to be offered at Jamia Mosque E Block Model Town
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former mayor Lahore and Chairman Punjab Group of Colleges Mian Amer Mahmood’s father has passed away, Dunya News reported Monday.
Funeral prayer of late Mian Zahoorul Haq was offered after Asar prayers (4:15pm) at Jamia Mosque E Block Model Town.
Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, President Mamnoon Hussain among four Chief Ministers (CM) have offered condolences to the bereaved family. Punjab Governor Rafiq Rajwana, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA) Khursheed Shah and Azad Kashmir PM Chaudhry Abdul Majeed have expressed solidarity.
Leaders of different political parties including Imran Khan, Sirajul Haq, Liaqat Baloch, Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan and Fazlur Rehman and offered condolences to the grieving family.
Others who have sympathized are DIG Aftab Cheema, SSP Raja Riffat, Sohail Ahmed, Supreme Court Bar President Barrister Ali Zafar, Secretary Asad Manzoor Butt and Pakistan Bar Council Vice-Chairman Azam Nazeer Tarrar.
