Saudi Defence Minister Muhammad Bin Salman to arrive in Islamabad today
Salman will also further talks on Pakistan's role in the military alliance of 34 Islamic countries.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Saudi Arabian Defence Minister and Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman is expected to arrive in Islamabad today (Sunday).
The Saudi Minister will meet with Pakistan’s political and military leadership including Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif.
Matters pertaining to regional security will be discucssed during the meeting.
According to sources, the Saudi Defence Minister will discuss security situation of the region. The Minister is also expected to further talks on Pakistan’s role in the military alliance of 34 Islamic countries.
Saudi Arabia’s row with Iran will also be brought up during the meeting.
Saudi Foreign Minister Adil-Al Jubair had also discussed in detail matters pertaining to the military alliance with Pakistani officials during his visit earlier this month. Jubair had stated that Iran s policies will cause greater instability in region.
